I have been asked to do an interview with a college student on the traditions and history surrounding Samhain. Knowing that we all have favorite things and different ideas, I thought I would ask you what tradition, story, theme, God, Goddess, or symbol of Samhain would you like or feel important to let the mundane world know about.
Maybe I should also ask what is it that you do to celebrate/honor this time of year and what does it mean to you

Dark does not equal negative, light does not equal positive (both can be either)
Delving into issues of death, death is a part of life, honoring those that have died
Season of Samhain is the "death" period of the Wheel of the Year, time to reflect, meditate, turn inward, introspection, hybernate, rest (just like dark of the moon in the lunar cycle, like what women want to do on their "moon cycle" ... stay in bed & eat chocolate).
I guess that's my short 'laundry list' off the top of my head. Let me know if you'd like me to expand on something. :-)
